Review

What is so brilliant about Phil Birch's pot pourri of business wisdom is the work he has done in collating so much knowledge in such an easily digestible format. It saves you buying at least 20 other books. If you did nothing else than read one letter per week, in half a year, your world and business will be transformed. --Tom Evans, author of Flavours of Thought

5.0 out of 5 stars Wider Implications 3 Oct 2011
Format:Paperback
What Phil does really well in this book is to move effortlessly beyond the pure ethics of business into the wider realm of ethical leadership. There are real gems in here for leadership within a range of contexts, engaging people and developing committment to corporate ideals and intents.
A really accessible read that is a must for anyone interested in developing effective leadership.

5.0 out of 5 stars Guide to business but with ETHICS! 26 Sep 2011
Format:Paperback
I liked the layout of this book. I have often thought that when authors use the alphabet as a framework, it can make a book seem contrived, but I did not find this book fell into that trap. Phil clearly has a wide knowledge of business but what is so wonderful about it, is to find a book which is saying you can be successful and ethical. Of course, we all know this really, but we have all been so shocked and overwhelmed by the evidence of the disregard for an ethical approach to business of recent times, that this book is just right for the times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bitesize learning and great detail combined 23 Jun 2011
Format:Paperback
This book is both a perfect coffee table piece and fantastic learning compendium.

The layout, separating the contents in an accessible A-Z format, from abundance to zeal, makes the subjects easy to read and make it possible to pick up and lay down the book to suit the time available, however busy your day. I read my copy on the train!

Each entry is clearly written and provides a valuable insight into the principles of doing business and living your life ethically.

I have no hesitation in recommending this book to anyone interested in any aspect of business.
