Sit back, rest the Kindle on your knee and enjoy a damn good read. Its a Boys Own adventure story for adults and it has just about every technological gadget you can imagine. Fast paced , clever and very, very pleasing and there are two books to go! What more do you need?

Great concept - execution a little lacking 15 Mar 2012

There are three books in this series. The concept is great and I loved the first book. I must admit that I felt that the second and third books were not as good as the first and drifted off into some rather distracting concepts - the last book seemed to be setting up further sequels in a kind of Steam Punk version of a Warhammer 40k style environment. Enjoyed reading the first book - bit disappointed with the second and third.

couldn't put it down fast and very well written, just bought second part can't wait to start it. good characters and some laugh out loud moments. just buy it and enjoy

Enjoyable What If? story

I really enjoyed this new take on a What If? story that never let up from start to finish.
