About the Author
Vincent Cobb was born and educated in Blackpool and spent most of his working life in the travel industry. Eventually he moved to London, where he became joint managing director of Thomson Holiday, the giant package tour company, before moving on to head up Club 1830. His first book, The Package Tour Industry, was published last year and recounts his many personal experiences in the early days of travel some humorous and some terrifying.The author lives in the Home Counties with his wife, Pat. Nemesis is his second work of fiction and follows his earlier success with Leave a Light on for Jesus, a disturbing story of abuse and betrayal.

The Love of an Angel

A forbidden love affair, a changed life of a Harvard man and a woman who he believes is really his protector. The pages turn easily in this romance fantasy book titled "An Angel's kiss" written by Vincent Cobb.
Is it the decision that kept him alive when he changed his flight reservation or was it fate? Everyone would like to believe that they have someone, or some spiritual being watching over and protecting them from harm and Tom believes he has met his angel...as the story unfolds. I enjoyed reading this one. The characters were developed very well by the author. You won't be disappointed when you pick this one up to read.

I'll admit, I was a bit daunted when I first opened this book and it was over 400 pages long. Nevertheless, I was pulled in by the story from page 1. An Angel's Kiss is an intriguing love story between a human man, Tom, and his guardian angel, Imogene.
Tom was the guy who pretty much had it all: good looks, intelligence, a prominent job at a high class New York law firm. While in London on business, he decides to take an excursion and while out, he sees this beautiful, ethereal woman for the first time. The mysterious woman essentially saves his life and after a series of incidents, it is revealed that she is the angel in charge of him and has become human to protect him.
From there, the novel is essentially about the two's forbidden romance and the trials they must face. Although labeled under the romance genre, An Angel's Kiss combines an intriguing love story with elements of fantasy and action to keep readers engaged in the plot. This isn't your stereotypic, tired romance novel.

Angel Interference...

What would you do if you knew the next step you were about to take would change your life forever? Would you hesitate? Would you risk it all trying to go against fate? What if that decision was made for you? Such is the predicament of our lead character, Tom Metzler. Tom had everything goin for him....above average looks, nice job with a future....oh yes, and a fated plane ride to catch. **DUM DUM DUM** "An Angel's Kiss" by Vincent Cobb presents readers the "what if" scenario with a twist. It's not the "what if I" question we've asked ourselves a dozen times; it's the "what if they" lingering in the shadows. The "they" in this scenario is referring to angels.....and one in particular who just can't follow orders. To speak of more, would reveal too much of the story line, but let's just say there's a first time for everything and yet this is not this angel's first interference. Author Vincent Cobb provides likeable characters with an interesting proposal on just what would happen if our fate was changed unexpectedly. Highly enjoyable!
Recommended for older teen and adult readers.....it's a great addition to the "chick-lit" genre you won't soon forget!
