i was a kid when this first came out and loved it then. it is still cute and gives my 2 year old some fun. I used ton live next to the people who were involved in making it in Ireland back in the 1980s so was great so see again.

Fast Delivery! i bought this for my sisters birthday because it brought back childhood memories of us laughing at this film.Its a great family film.
Despite being the second film released this is actually the 4th film in the American Tail series if you watch the two direct to video specials before this.
Its different that the first, maybe the animation or the look of Fievel, this time they pack up there backs and head way out west unaware they are leading themselfs into a trap caused by an evil posh cat voiced by John Cleese.
Downsides to this film, we do hear "Somewhere Out There" again but only for 15 seconds at the start of the film, pity it didn't last long, Poor Tanya.
The film had a skimpy story to be sure but the animation and songs were ok.
You'll enjoy this film as much as the first one.
