I thought this was going to be a boring romantic book, but actually its like receiving a long letter from friends. Ok So the letter would be darned long, but it is both of the characters telling you about a year of their lives, and if you knew me, i write letter that long lol

The story takes you on a journey how the families differ, yet are so similar. How life can change and how one act can affect forever if you let it. Each character tells their story with out repeating the other, sometimes its as though they are talking you through the story. Sarah has done a brilliant job of translating this tale if love, heartbreak, deception, lies and happiness.

Loved this a lot more than i thought i would and think i need to stop looking at covers :)

I really enjoyed this book and there were a few surprises which meant it wasn't as predictable as some chick lit (although I guessed Zach's 'secret' immediately). However, I have deducted one star because I found the book really irritating to read as it was full of errors - hanging apostrophes all over the place, grammatical mistakes, the wrong use of tenses, and incorrect words popping up (e.g. reef instead of wreath) - all pointing to use of the spellchecker rather than an editor. However, these distractions aside, the book was engaging and I am looking forward to her new one.

I was recommended this book by a friend and then ensued a 3 way conversation between me, my friend and the author who we copied in on our messages.

I am so glad i purchased this book! I loved the way it was writtien with parts by Amy and then Zach - very clever! I found the characters really believable too and really wanted to go to the States when i finished reading this.

Once i finished this i didn't hesitate in buying Izzy's Cold Feet which is book 2 by the author - Love it!

A good read which has been very well written, I like how the characters sound like they're relaying their story through an interview. I do however feel like the ending was a little bit rushed, I feel it could have been extended and been a little more elaborate. It left me feeling like I needed to know more which isn't great unless the book is part of a series. Apart from that I did really enjoy the book and would definitely read another book from this author.

I found this book quite interesting to start with, but then I thought it took a long time to move on, and I made myself plod on with it.
Some of the books I have read before by Paige Toon e.g Chasing Daisy, I read again straight after finishing, her books and a few authors are to 're read and keep. Unfortunately Amy and Zach is not in that category. I hate to write a negative book review, but really found this book quite boring, with a few grammar mistakes.

The interweaving of points of view of the main characters, Amy and Zack, flowed from page to page and kept the momentum going. They lived, loved and learned a lot about each other as the story unfolded. The main message I took from the book is that the past will always catch up with you! The characters with all their flaws were very likeable even if some of those traits seemed very selfish. A good, satisfying and simple read
