The case is excellent by itself, but really should not be sold under the assumption that it holds 500 discs. It does come with enough wallets and sleeves for 500, but it is physically impossible to place all the wallets into the ring-binders when they are full up with discs. I have managed to get 20 wallets inside each of my ring-binders, but it has been very tough to put the last two or three wallets in without allowing several of the others to fall out upon opening the rings. This means that I have stopped at 320 discs. I need to find different storage for my remaining discs (about 100 or so). At a push, I might be able to get another 2 wallets (16 discs) in the binders, but not much else.
If you need 300 or less, this is fine. If you need 400 or more, then this is selling under false pretenses.

There is no way that you can fit 500 cds in this folder. Anything over 300 discs and the sleeves won't fit into the ringbinders. A terrible design. Stick with caselogic.

I have nearly 2000 music CDs in my collection and recently made the decision to store them away. I looked around for lots of different cases and finally took the plunge on this. I've had a few other disc holders made by Amps before, which have all been fine. I split the case between discs and their inlays - which means that 500 discs became 250 discs with the other 250 slots used for inlays and other materials that came with the discs (small poster cards etc.) It really is a good solution.

Don't buy this product
The pockets are very narrow and the plastic is brittle. The books don't actually hold as many discs as the pages fall out when it becomes too full. Buy caselogic instead.

These are large cases, but they are split into 2 x 250 disc sections, each with its own ringbinders. Read more
