3.0 out of 5 stars Nice souvenir 28 Feb 2009
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Reviewing a Paul McCartney product is difficult because I have purchased everything that Paul has ever issued and have enjoyed most of it. This is not his best release but the package contains some excellent songs well performed. Paul's voice is still good in his 60's but I felt that on some tracks the mix could have given more prominence to the vocals. Nevertheless Paul is still able to produce quality - the musicianship is impeccable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Macca back to his best! 26 Feb 2009
Format:Audio CD
A superb live CD EP from the master of stage performance. Some solo material with a splash of Wings and a dash of the Beatles!

This guy still knows how to hit all the right spots. Plus his performance is A1. Let's hope he eventually deems it appropriate to release a full CD of the 20 tracks he performed at this record store gig in Hollywood.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful MACCA Live Gem ! 31 Jan 2009
Format:Audio CD
This remarkable four song live CD recorded in front of a crowd of a few hundered very lucky fans is a wonderful musical gem. Two great songs from "Memory Almost Full" are very memorable. "Only Mama Knows" is a riveting rocker reminiscent of "Jet" highlighting Paul's spirited vocals. "That Was Me" is a reflective but very upbeat song that focuses on Paul's past. "C Moon" is a live classic and "I Saw Her Standing There" is an epic Beatles' hit featuring MACCA's dynamic vocals and bass guitar virtuosity. The past few years have been great for McCartney. "Memory Almost Full", Fireman-"Electric Arguments" and "Amoeba's Secret" are all killer and no filler.
