Just like her dear departed mother who wrote "The Amish Cook", Lovina Eicher presents us with this wonderful book which is a joy to read. I have tried many of the recipes much to the delight of my family and friends and I have learned so much from reading the book. It contains stories, details of the Eicher family life and the recipes are presented in according to the seasons. The photos in the book are beautiful. I have just bought a copy for my friend as a Christmas gift I cannot recommend it highly enough.
