Animal patterns include an owl, a frog, a teddy bear, a cat, a dog, a skunk, a squirrel, a chick, and a pig. The animal designs use worsted-weight yarn and size-six knitting needles, while the clothing projects are knit from sport-weight yarn and size-three needles. These projects can be given as gifts to children or used to adorn a room.

Lovely little booklet containing 9 animal patterns and 4 clothes patterns - scarf, skirt, sweater and a hat. As I cannot crochet very well, this knitting book is the perfect alternative to create some seriously adorable amigurumi.
I have to say that the patterns are very similar to each other - each animal is composed by a round head and a round body, but I am willing to overlook this as the end result is super cute. On the same point, it is a good thing that they are all the same size, as that means unlimited options to create outfits and clothes that fit all of them!
Things are knitted flat as per the instructions, with a seam in the back. Super easy instructions and things turn out exactly as they look in the pictures!
Perfect for knitting novices, kids and anyone who loves a cute toy. I will be making quite a few of those and give away as presents.

I love amigurumi and really wanted to have a go but I don't crochet, I am a knitter. This is a great little book. Each animal is basically the same, with different ears/eyes etc for each that make it look different. Very simple :-)

What a lovely book! The choice of animals to knit and the photographs are superb, and the knitting instructions are very easy. I love it and look forward to making all of these animals over and over again
