But don't be fooled by the cuteness of this little speaker dock, this is a serious little piece of kit that wont disappoint, unless, of course, you don't happen to like little panda shaped speakers! But what's not to like?! The sound quality cannot be faulted (no matter how high you turn up the volume) nor can the build quality (this panda is well sturdy). It comes complete with a remote control so you don't have to fiddle about with the click wheel to access your menu. It also recharges your ipod at the same time. Definitely not a gimmick nor a toy and definitely not just for the kids. My iPod Classic 120GB has found a new home to belt out that "noise" I like to call music and I'm loving it.

I loved this product, the quality is fantastic, also it is one of the few products I found that will charge my iPhone when it's plugged in. Do not just buy this for the children it's excellent for all ages!!

This is fantastic, it truly is superb.
Firstly it looks great. Taking up less space than many alarm clocks and finished in a good quality glossy plastic and chrome body it stands out in any room. Many people come in and ask what it is and I have great pleasure in demonstrating it as they are all amazed by the sound.
You switch the machine on at the back and insert your Ipod and there are many different docking holders so you will be able to find the one that fits your Ipod player. The mouth lights up and flashes everytime you press the remote control so you know that the machine has recognised your instruction. The remote is credit card size and operates the Ipod fully so you never need to get out of your chair to do anything! The best part about this is the sound. The speakers are in the eyes and the subwoofer is underneath, the sub woofer is so powerful, you can actually feel the air being moved if you hold your hand by the mouth! The louder you turn this up the richer the sound. It does not get tinny or distorted and the sound is so rich and clear. You can adjust the sub woofer bass at the back too. To adjust the bass and treble you do not to use the EQ settings on you Ipod.
This is a wacky speaker and performed much better that I expected. The ears are touch sensitve and you can turn the sound down if you cant find the remote! It really is the ultimate Ipod speaker! I love it!

The iPanda has a nice deep sound and is extremely cute to look at! It's solid and quite heavy, but not too heavy. The touch sensitive volume ears are really easy to use and you don't have to push them down at all. Overall this was a really good buy and I recommend this.

I agree with the previous positive reviews - this is a nicely designed product that is good fun, good value and sounds great.
Sadly it's not compatible with the nano 6g.
It charges fine and many controls work (like volume, pause and forward/back.) But the menu commands (up/down/enter) on the remote don't work, so if you want to find a specific track, you have to use the nano's touch screen which (unless you have tiny fingers and lots of patience) means undocking it each time.
(Also, on a more minor note, once a track is playing and the nano is showing only the album art, it's not possible to return to the track name etc. using the remote.)
If I was using a different iPod, or didn't need to use the menus, or a new version of the iPanda/iPig was brought out to make the menus work, then I'd give this 5*. But I can only give it 3* because of its lack of usability with my nano.

The iPanda is fantastic, what a brilliant little iPod docking station this is. Purchased for my 12 year old daughter, she just loves it to bits...particularly the touch volume ears & the light up mouth features! I wouldn't say the sound quality is the best in the world but absolutely fine for what she's looking for.
The Panda isn't the easiest to find (Pigs seem more available) but ordering was easy, delivery was right on time & had no problems with the product as yet...5 stars!

I've now had mine for over 2 years and still adore it. Very cute looking and the sound quality is amazing for the price. I completely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend £100+ on speakers.

I had been after one of these for my daughter for a number of months after seeing a lady on the bus carrying a new boxed one and my thinking how cute it looked. However I was concerned that the sound quality would be poor from such a small unit. After searching the high streets for one to 'try out' with no success I decided to take the plunge and by it based on looks alone. On receipt of the product I was firstly even further impressed by the designed accompanied by good solid quality build and neat volume control function in the ears. On connecting my daughters ipod to the unit I was quite literally 'blown away' by the sound quality and indeed the volume this tiny unit can produce without any distortion (something I may later regret as my daughter get older...). I had been looking at a number of ipod speaker systems ranging anywhere from £100-300 for myself but I can honestly say after trying so many of the 'super league' brand names like Bose etc, this is fantastic value for money and is compareable in build and sound quality to some of the best of them and in my humble opinion better than many in the £100-150 price range!
