What a stunning album. What a stunning album. I got this from a friend and it has just grown and grown, and is now head and shoulders above the other 100-odd albums I have heard over the last 6 months. If you like early-ish Radiohead you will adore this. Yes it is well produced for a three piece, and yes Josh Ostrander's voice might be a bit off-putting at first, but there is an energy and a passion here that i have not heard for years. Again, think Thom York and the boys on 'The Bends' and that is exactly what you have here. Whether its its the radio friendly 'Single Sedative' and 'Noah', or the emotion pain of 'Stutter' and 'Some Sorta Light' to the sheer energy of 'To The Wind' this is truely an album for the noughties. I just feel priviledged that I have discovered it for my friends and reviewed it here first. Go buy it and let it warm your soul.

A talented songwriter with powerful vocals, a unique voice supported superbly by two energetic and highly skilled musicians. This American three-piece band have all the ingredients to make it big, and this UK debut Album is a must own. 5 Stars richly deserved. Can't wait till the next UK tour and album!

Got sent this album through some promo material and am very glad i was! probably wouldn't have found ECC otherwise and that would be a shame!
took a few listens to really appreciate the album but they were good listens! it just sortof grows on you and becomes a new friend you go to for comfort...think there's something about the lead singer's (Josh Ostrander) voice!
instant favourite's include 'Stutter' and 'The Box'...mainly for the love of piano intros and nice voices!

would recommend this to any fray or keane fans...could be right up their street!
