We've all heard horror stories of 'justice' systems. What do you do when accused of a crime you didn't commit? Everyone's worst nightmare is visited upon this single mum. Her determination and endurance in the face of 'road blocks' is inspiring. Highly emotionally movie - cried like a baby, for what this woman went through and for the not so strong ones who took a plea. How many people have been criminalised on the word of one person? That this system went on for years unchallenged is sickening.
Fabulous performances from the cast - (newbie?) Nicole Beharie, AlfreWoodard as the supportive mother, Charles Dutton etc
Fact-based drama, I highly recommend.
