Fantastic 2 July 2001
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This album was bought without seeing the film. I love this style of music such as 3EB, Blink 182 and Lit etc. and so knew this album would be right down my street. I wasn't disappointed, upbeat high energy track such as Mutt, New Girl, Super TransAtlantic and Vintage Queen are all stand outs. My favourite track of this type is Summertime by the now named 'Scot Sax' who should be huge soon. The best track on the album though is without doubt Bic Runga's 'Sway'. It is a beautiful love song which simply is exquisite. There are a couple of tracks which don't quite maintain the same impact as the aforementioned songs, but the album overall is excellent.

All the best songs from the film were missed out! Mrs Robinson?Flagpole Sitta by Harvey Danger?, One week by Bare naked Ladies? Semi charmed life by third eye blind? where did they go. Not to mention the abslout classic that Jim strips to! not as good as it could have been but still worth a purchase.

Superb! 9 Nov 1999
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Although some may just look at this album and say 'this is just another typical bland soundtrack, froma another typical teen movie', I would disagree. The album contains tracks by some well-known artists such as sugar ray, and Dan Wilson from Semisonic, but its the tracks written by the unheard of bands that are the real gems. "Sway" by Bic Runga is a wonderfully relaxing song, but 'Summertime' and 'Stranger by the day' are a couple of the best songs I have ever heard. If you have seen and liked the film, then I can guarentee that you wll like the soundtrack. It will probabl make you want to go and see it again just so you can work out which song goes where. Worth every penny

As good as the film
This album is fantastic. Great selection of relaxing songs and the more 'exciting' songs. Highlights have got to be Sway, Mutt, and Good Morning Baby. Buy, Buy, Buy!
