From Amazon.co.uk

Kudos to the home-video exec who came up with the "Presents..." prefix to keep a movie franchise going, even though it has almost no relation to the entries that came before. This is number five in the series that started with American Pie, an unexpected hit of a teen sex romp that kept the box office and DVD grosses (not to mention gross-outs) coming. The last entry, American Pie Presents: Band Camp, was the first non-theatrical release, which gave the filmmakers more "anything goes" freedom in the "unrated" department than ever. The Naked Mile kicks it up another notch with more gratuitous female nudity, bodily fluid flinging, and sexual overtones than anyone thought could be topped. Pubescent boys and those with minds forever stuck in that dimension, get ready to ogle babes and roar at puerile humor like you never have before. The only American Pie connections are in the form of the Stifler family, filled with a never-ending string of sex-crazed high school and college boys, and Eugene Levy as family friend Mr. Levenstein, who pops in for a (presumably) hefty paycheck and a couple of lines of sexual wisdom about the connection between promiscuity and growing up. Our hero, Erik Stifler, is on a weekend vacation at the local college where his cousin knows all the hot babes. He's in possession of a "free pass" from his virginal girlfriend to lose his own virginity. His visit just happens to coincide with the college's traditional Naked Mile run, an excuse to fill the screen with raw young flesh and stupid drunken frat kids engaging in silly sexual deviance that some people may find funny. And let's face it, if they're going to find the nudity and sordid sex play offensive, they're not going to have this DVD in their hands. All ends as it should: Erik finds true sex--ahem, love--with his girlfriend and everyone else finds it with whoever is handy. Mostly importantly, the cycle is left open with everything ripe for another sure-to-be classic in the American Pie Presents series. --Ted Fry

Product Description

Fifth outing for the American Pie franchise introduces a second generation of outrageous frat boys desperate to lose their virginity, based around the despicable Adam Stiffler's (Steve Talley) cousin. Eric Stiffler (John White) is feeling the pressure of having an infamous older cousin. He's also feeling fit to pop his cork at not having done the deed yet when his chums all claim they're already well into their sexual careers. Getting caught with his drawers down enjoying some adult entertainment doesn't aid his plight and its almost time to leave high school. Will he be the first Stiffler to graduate high school, cherry intact? Adam invites him and his pals up to college for the weekend of the 'Naked Mile' event in which the end of exams is celebrated by a fully exposed sprint across campus. Hot college chicks, dwarves, performance enhancing drugs, a dominatrix, buckets of beer and lots of masturbation gags ensue.

4.0 out of 5 stars Shockingly Good 20 Dec 2006
After a pretty average 'Band Camp' we thought it was all over for american pie, however the 'naked mile' is very funny, lot more nudity, sicker, and a lot of likeble funny charchters.

The film involves a new Stifler going to run at the naked mile still being a virgin, and visting another funny Stifler.

It has some very funny scenes and not as whimpish as 'Band Camp if you know what I mean. Jim's dad is back as usual and revels how he knows so much about sex.

It is really good, not fully up to standards as the orignals, but a hell lot better than 'band camp'

4.0 out of 5 stars American Pie 5...hmm 14 Dec 2006
By Andrew Kerr TOP 500 REVIEWER
Hmm, American Pie The Naked Mile. To tell you the truth I wasn't expecting too much from the film. I was disappointed with Band Camp and I didn't believe that this fifth installment could do anything worth watching and make the film stand out. How wrong I was! American Pie The Naked Mile is one of the greatest and funniest films that I've seen in the last six months. Not to mention that this lastest piece of pie has ten times more nudity than all of the other American Pie films combined. The film is around the same standard as the first and isn't as good as American Pie 2 or 3 but it is still a great film. The Naked Mile tells of Erik Stifler's realisation that he doesn't quite live up to the Stifler name. Along with a small group of friends they embark on the mission of a life time with comical and often sexually embassing results. The plot is a bit weak in places with the main character being Steve Stifler's younger brothers cousin - or something like that. The only original character to remain is Jim's Dad played by Eugene Levy who as always provides an intresting insight for the other characters. Eugene Levy's
acting is sound but the acting of the other characters is a bit shallow. But still the comedy aspect well compensates for any weaknesses. While I'm a big fan of the American Pie saga, I feel that this idea of endless spin off sequals with a new set of characters each time around isn't quite the right way to do things. So I suggest you give it a chance as I doubt your be disappointed and remember to "look at the size of that [..]chicken.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great laughs out loud moments! 26 Feb 2007
By Mark
When I first saw this advertised I thought, aw man, not another american pie film released straight on dvd that isn't that good! The first 3 were great films and the last one, Band Camp, was ok but just didn't feel like the originals. But I bought the Naked Mile and I eventually watched it after hearing my mates saying it was brilliant, and I must say I agree with them. It is very good, not as good as the first 3 though, but it is very good! A very funny intro and there are loads of moments where you will laugh and laugh out loud! Obviously no original characters from the first 3, but Jims Dad is back again and hes funny as always, but the acting from all of them was very good and the story line was good too! This will deffinitley have you laughing non stop!!

Must say a very funny film but to be honest not really anything like the american pie series of films. Should just be called naked mile, along with band camp. With out the man who made american pie great it dont deserve the name. A party in the original trilogy would consist of friends getting together, dancing to some music, playing cards and having a few drinks. A party in The Naked Mile universe is like being at an orgy, where drinking as much as possible until you're acting like a monkey and then whipping your genitals out is the norm.
