First of all i'd like to say the guy a couple of reviews down, how the hell can he say that American Pie 2 was "semi-decent" in my opinion it was equal to if not better than the first, he/she must have bad film taste, but however onto the review, this film (in my opinion) is brilliant kept me laughing all the way through, never wanted to pause the DVD not for anything, the only down points were "Oz's" and shermans dissapearances, i know that Chris Klein who plays oz couldn't or didn't want to appear due to scheduling clashing apparently he was filming some film, called Rollerball or Thunderball or something, which apparently was a flop while American Pie: The Wedding was a huge success, and also the rest of the characters including Sherman were left out due to the writers being unable to find good roles for them, which is sort of understandable overall i loved this film and would recommend it to literally anyone who likes a good laugh.
Overall - 9/10

More Pie,

There's nothing missing from this really. Most of the characters are a bit more grown up, Michelle is a lot less irritating than in the previous films. Stifler though - well he hasn't changed. His antics drive the film, the other characters seem to take a supporting role. There are, of course, strippers in lieu of Shannon Elizabeth, and a manic stag night which kicks off without the groom being there. The extras are pretty good as well (I have the Region 1 unrated version) with some good outtakes. If you liked the other films then you will love this.

Final Instalment?,
This review is from: American Pie 3: The Wedding [DVD] [2003] (DVD)
Firstly this film was never going to live up to the original Pie film as the original was...well...original! The format is getting tired now, especially since it's the third installment and so the jokes are wearing thin. But having said that this film doesn't need to be compared to the other two as it stands up well by itself, it was obviously never going to out-do the first two in the hilarity stakes and once you realise that you can sit back and still thoroughly enjoy a great film. This Pie sees Jim taking his girlfriend from bandcamp, Michelle, up the aisle thus the film sets the pace at the beginning with a hiliarious proposal scene in a restraunt. From then on in you just know the wedding is going to be one disaster after another, especially when Stifler (the ever brilliant Sean William Scott) decides to join in with the fun. The only problem with this Pie is that some of the original cast is missing, this isn't a major loss as all the old favourites do return such as Finch, Stifler, (and his mum) and Kevin. The film also sees the return of the superbly cast Eugene Levy as Jim's dad who once again manages to put his foot into it at almost every opportunity. But of course the real star of the show is Sean William Scott as the over-excited and annoying Stifler who steals all the best lines but essentially makes this installment so funny- especially in the scenes with a grandma and a 'truffle.' Overall this film is still extremelly funny, there was never a point of more than ten minutes when I wasn't laughing out loud- definately worth buying if you already have the other two and certainly worth considering if you havn't.
