Product Description

From the label: Razzle Dazzle: A twisted blend of red raspberry, wild honey, cool white chocolate and rich dreamy darkness - this peanut butter offers a magical mix of deliciousness. We start with fresh peanuts raised by family farms. Then we add natural raspberry flavoring, mix in the perfect amounts of white and semi-sweet chocolate and just a touch of MEL-O honey for a bewitching taste sensation that is as lip-smacking good on bread as it is off a spoon.

3.0 out of 5 stars Dessert PB 13 May 2013

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
As a big peanut butter fan I was pretty excited to try this peanut butter. Immediately I was disappointed with how thick this stuff is. I mean, _really_ thick. Difficult to scoop, almost impossible to spread, etc. If you're looking to put this peanut butter on a sandwich, maybe a quick warm-up in the microwave would help make this usable on a sandwich.

The thickness is balanced by how sweet and delicious this stuff is. It's tasty. And it smells amazing - just like raspberries. However, it's so sweet that it's on par with something like Nutella. Maybe could be used as a peanut butter spread, but it's so sweet it's best used as (or in a) dessert. I think the peanut butter would've been better if it wasn't nearly as sweet - I've had other PB Crave flavors and I didn't find them quite as sweet.

If all of the peanut butter in the world suddenly vanished, I wouldn't want to be a part of this world any more. If Jif got bought out by another company, I'd go Rambo on whoever took over.

Simply put, peanut butter is one of my favorite things in the world.

Just look at the description for this Razzle Dazzle flavor- wild honey, dark chocolate, white cocoa butter drops AND natural raspberry flavor. I don't know about you, but I love all 4 of those things, and when combined with peanut butter, it sounds like there's no possible way for anything to go wrong, right?

Whenever I open a jar of peanut butter, the first thing I do is get in close as I tear away the seal so I can smell it right as the scent emerges. Razzle Dazzle here smelled incredible. All kinds of different things mixed into one aroma got me hungry, so I got a spoon and dug in. Well...I tried to dig in, I should say. This stuff is thick! As thick as the girls from a certain Sir Mix-a-lot song. If you have a way of heating up the jar beforehand, I suggest doing so. As others have mentioned, spreading this stuff on toast is just going to tear up the bread. The taste though, is very weird. There are a ton of white cocoa butter drops in the peanut butter, and while I -can- taste everything else, the white cocoa beats out everything else except the peanut butter. The raspberry taste is very light, the wild honey kicks in as an aftertaste, and the dark, that was a bit of a downer to not taste much of it.

I'm really disappointed that this peanut butter wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. The thickness is what really kills it for me. That and the price. There's no way I'm going to pay that much for a single jar. I'll gladly stick with good ol' crunchy Jif or honey roasted Skippy over this kind and save a few bucks too. PB Crave is worth trying out, but I can't say many positive things for it. Maybe use it for cookies or something?

1.0 out of 5 stars Not good. 21 May 2013

It seems like everyone has reviewed the razzle dazzle peanut butter but I don't see any reviews for the coco banana so I'll take on the task. This peanut butter is not good. I'm a HUGE peanut butter fan and I absolutely love peanut butter and banana sandwiches so I thought this was going to be an amazing product, hence my acceptance of the hefty price tag, but as soon as I took a whiff I knew something wasn't right. The smell is off-putting. It smells...chemically, and tastes that way too. It's hard to believe that this peanut butter is "naturally flavored" because it smells and tastes......fake, for lack of a better word. Also, if you take a look at the picture you can see a little chocolate towards the bottom. Sadly, that's the chocolate content of the entire jar. What little there is rests at the bottom. All in all this was a very disappointing product, especially for the price paid. Don't waste your money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Taste Overload 31 Mar 2013

Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I love peanut butter and have been a peanut butter aficionado for more than 40 years, all my life really. So much so that I thought peanut butter was a food group. When I saw PB Crave Razzle Dazzle Peanut Butter with the honey, dark chocolate, white cocoa butter drops, and raspberry flavors, I thought, "This I must try." I mean, I like honey, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and raspberry. What would be the results of combining them?

My impressions: I noticed immediatly upon opening that it hadn't separated like some of the other all natural peanut butters which was nice. The other thing noticed the first time I tried it that PB Crave Razzle Dazzle Peanut Butter is really thick. This is not spreadable in the out-of-the-jar form. You kind of have to just lump it on and mash it out. As for taste, it has a good but not sweet peanut butter flavor I associate with "craft" style peanut butter. The raspberry and the dark chocolate really stood out. I didn't get the white cocoa butter very much and the honey was kind of like a solid foundation. The raspberry flavor has a stick-to-your-mouth quality. Even 15-20 minutes after finishing, I could still taste the raspberry in my mouth. It was really good on fresh toast so it would melt together.

Overall, I liked PB Crave Razzle Dazzle Peanut Butter and may buy it again as a change of pace. What I am wondering now is, "How would it be to make peanut butter cookies with this?"

2.0 out of 5 stars I thought it would be a treat but the kids don't like it. 28 Feb 2013

When I saw the PB Crave Razzle Dazzle premium I thought that I had found a treat for my kids who love peanut butter. It seemed to have everything they could want in a PB&J snack. It has peanut butter, honey, Rasberry flavor, dark chocolate, and bits of white chocolate. I thought for sure it would hit every hot button they had.
Unfortunately, the sandwiches I included with lunch came back half eaten with the explanation they did not like the product.

I tried it myself on some ritz crackers. The razzle dazzle wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was expecting. I found it a bit on the dry side and it wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. The peanut butter wasn't smooth and I don't think the white chocolate bits added much flavor. I would compare the taste and texture to the generic PB&J you find premixed in a jar on the shelf at Aldi's or Food Lion. Though I will finish the jar I doubt I'll purchase it again.
