I am already a subscriber to the online version of Science and, finding the Zinio version of reading it a bit gimmicky, have stuck to the web site version. That is fine when I have time plenty of time to browse and have access to a large screen when the computer is switched on. I downloaded the Kindle app so that I could read Science in bed, and on the move. While it's good to have the magazine more readily available, I find the layout and zoom possibilities rather limited. Turn the Kindle to landscape and you get two pages displayed - which is limiting on a small screen. You *can* zoom a bit to make the page bigger, but touch the wrong part of the screen and it reverts too readily to the full page layout - irritating.

Hopefully, this app will improve in time.

False advertising. It is not free. One must pay for a subscription $99 a year which is far from free.

It is a mystery to me how the most advanced science journal in the US if not he world can have such a horrible interface.
Using a PDF of the printed magazine is so yesterday and unreadable in praxis.

Get "Science News" instead, or "The Economist". Their Kindle interface re-flows the articles and the index are easy to use.

Shame on you AAAS.

Be warned: once you enter all paths will be rough; some will even prove false, but the retractions themselves will be schooling.
