3.0 out of 5 stars Not up to the usual standard 21 Aug 2008
Usually I am extremely forgiving of the sound quality and content of FTD releases, due to the fact that they are historical documents. However this one has me a little confused. There seems to be nothing particularly special on this CD, the sound mix is extremely poor, and the performance is decidedly average. It is my understanding that the 19th August 1974 is being released in the latter part of this year. Those who know about this concert will be aware of it's significance due to the unusual, one off set list. This is the kind of release expected from FTD, and I'm sad to say America lacks this quality. However, it is a good enough show and we are lucky that FTD release them at all.

3.0 out of 5 stars Elvis concert okay...mix not good 26 April 2009
By Ronald
This is not a great Elvis concert, nor is it a bad concert, but it is a typical 1976 concert--if you've heard one, you've heard them all--for the most part. The song list hardly ever varies. The sound mix on this release is very poor. The background singers are as loud as or louder than Elvis in some places. If FTD had released the entire Omaha concert that the opening and closing tracks are from, I would rate this higher because the sound and mix from that concert are much better. I'm glad I bought it at a bargain price. If I had paid full price for this, I would have been angry.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Inspirations feat. Elvis Presley 13 Sep 2008
The first two tracks seem rather "normal". That is due to the fact that these two tracks were taken from the other show. And then we face the disaster. Through the whole show Elvis seems like singing backing vocals to his backing vocals. The whole band is flat and low. The only sound that stands out are The Sweet Inspirations.
Dear Mr. Jorgensen,
If you need the money that bad, why don't you call for a whip-round, and I'm sure that we'll do everything in our power to collect it. Just don't give us this kind of crap any more. Thank you... thank you very much

Not only did mans journey into space peak between 1969 and 1972 during which the 12 (only what ? 8 left alive) men who walked on the moon did their stuff : music also peaked during those years. The rest is just winding down and fiddling about. 13 10 hours ago
