I initially thought this would be a slow read. Instead, it presents information ( and there's a lot from a wide variety of sources) in a very readable and more importantly, interesting form. It throws light on many issues and suggests the sometimes disappointing reality behind what happened in the 1970s in Ireland.
Highly recommended

It is a detailed account, very readable and well researched. Provides a good account of a number of key societal issues of the period.
