Like Black Moon, the action is immediate and the characters are huge, and surprising. This time we are after Elves, but earth living ones. We learn a little more about the titles of the three books, and how crucial they are.

Spying, super-powers, 'Magick' and Bevill's deft hand with characters- a shape-shifting moggie in this one, take you out-of-this-world. Bevill's description of the power between the two lovers is quite wonderful.

Less horizontal action in this one, and it really leads you on to have to read the last book. Very clever.

I was very disappointed with the first book but this one was a lot better and I am now looking forward to reading the last in the trilogy. Again I think this could of been better but I found the story more engaging and thought it flowed quite well from the first to explain the relationship between the books.

I bought this book for my Kindle and found it to be an enjoyable story. Although it is fairly predictable in places, it is quite a good story. It was free for the Kindle version so was worth downloading and reading.
