These speaker stands are made from sturdy steel tubing and are adjustable from 27.6 inches to 39.4 inches in height. A plastic twist lock securely holds the stands at the desired height whilst allowing for quick changes when needed. They support most satellite and surround speakers with standard hole patterns and weighing up to 17.6 pounds / 8 kg.
The bases are constructed from powder-coated cold roll steel for added stability, giving each stand a total weight capacity of 19.6 pounds / 8.9 kg including speakers and cables.

All the other ones looked at were "universal" and come with the necessary bolts for single threaded and dual threaded speaker mounts but were out of stock at the time and these looked fine and reasonably priced. Looking at the head for these stands looks like it actually will support both of these, but doesn't come with the mounting bolts needed.
The only bolts that are supplied are for "hanging" speaker mounts where you just hang speakers on the bolt that goes through the head mount.
once up (with panasonic speakers) they look good and for the price am happy.
put the first one together, but not enough thread on the pole to secure correctly.
