Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
The only reason up to now I've only wall mounted one of our televisions is simply because of the cost; back when I bought one (larger than this) I was quite shocked at the price of the bracket and almost didn't bother. So the low price of this Amazon bracket is fantastic from the off and I can assure you that you're not losing quality either; it's heavy and robust.

Fixing it to the wall's easy and it's actually made even easier by having a small spirit level built in. This might not have been such a problem with this smaller bracket and with a 26" TV, but when fitting a larger one using a full-size spirit level was quite tricky, even with two of us, so it's still a nice touch.

Overall I can't fault this streamline bracket from Amazon. Top product.

I ordered this bad boy and was quite happy, it had a built in spirit level, can't mount that wonky.

Drilled a hole, slapped one of the provided wall plugs in and screwed in one of the bolts to hold the mounting plate against the wall. Tightened it up so I could mark out the other holes and used the built in spirit level to get it nice and straight n level. The plate looked out, so I dug out a spirit level and placed it on, to find it slightly out. I dug out another spirit level and this showed one end of the plate was slightly higher.

At this point, I put trust into my mighty 60cm spirit level, used it for all my kitchen cupboards and all the shelves in my house and they are all as level as a world final snooker table. Wall mount went up, plonked the tv on and all was nice and level.

At this point, I took off the tv and took off the built in spirit level and turned it around and put the little blighter back on. Now the spirit level was saying my wall mount was horizontal. Moral of this rather boring story is don't trust the built in spirit level if you want a tv to look as awesome as mine on the wall.

If you want a low profile wall mount, look else where, but I like the way I can use any old lead with out having to bend it 90 degrees due to the wall being so close.

Took a star off for the dodgy spirit level, I was quite put out by having to go to my shed and root out my spirit levels. I had to battle with cobwebs and risk the nagging from my wife about doing the lawn while I was in there.............

Verified Purchase
I was a bit apprehensive to buy this item as there were no reviews of it. When I got it, I was extremely delighted with the quality and robustness of the item.

Just finished fixing my 42 inch LG LCD tv to the wall...looks perfect.

Didn't need to use the arm extensions nor any of the mulitude of fixtures as my tv is not recessed.

The only advice I can recommend is to use the 11mm masonary drill bit rather than 12mm.

10 out of 10 amazon for supplying such a quality item for a super price!!

I purchased this bracket to support an LG32490 for a small TV this is one hell of a big bracket, however it does the job, what I don't like about it is that the bottom securing clips are difficult to get to lock in place (with it obviously being close to the wall you need very small hands and arms to reach them).
I initially used the built in spirit level to level the bracket (the bubble was spot on centre or so I thought)only to find when I fitted the TV it sloped about 4mm from end to end. It was annoying me so I checked with 1 metre level (and this confirmed the slope)So I attempted to remove TV from bracket how frustrating, it was driving me mad I tried releasing with various long thin rods and in the end had to tie a loop in a piece of string and lasso it to release (took almost an hour, won't be using those again far to fiddly)!
TV now back in place just hanging on top hooks, hope my wife don't go to crazy with her dusting and knock it off!!!!!!!!!!

Used this to install the Samsung 50" plasma 3dtv. Naturally i was too scared to do it myself, so i got a man with a van to do it.
It didnt take long to install and seemed pretty slick once the tv was mounted onto the wall.

The wall mount itself is pretty strong and all the bits you need to pay somebody else to do it comes in the box.

The product is good solid construction, easy to attach to television and to attach rear bracket to wall. It does not however as the video says fit all televisions between 26" and 50"!!!!! I have a Panasonic TH 37PX80B (37") and the rear plate is not wide enough to span to the the bolt fixings on the rear of the television!!! On re-reading the description, the width given is 68.5 cm. When the vertical arms are attached to my TV, they are 66 cm apart, which allowing for the design of the plat is not wide enough to hang the TV on!!! I will now need to wait until I have the bigger version- shame on you amazon for not pointing this out in your sales speil!!!

1. This is a relatively slimline mount: without spacers the distance from the wall to the back of the TV is approximately 30mm. The specifications ought to tell you this.

2. I used the 20mm spacers so that the nominal distance from the wall to the back of the TV is just less than 50mm (2 inches). The back of the PC is far from flat and some parts - like the bit at the bottom with the speakers in - are closer than this at about 40mm.

3. The VESA points on the TXP42G20 are slightly recessed so you have to use spacers to stop the mounting arms bending the back cover of the TV. Also, no need for any of the supplied arm extensions with this TV.

4. I was thinking of cutting the supplied plastic spacers to get a closer fit but decided against it in order to make organizing the aerial and satellite connections easier.

5. On many other TVs you'll may well need to use spacers if the ports you need access to are not angled downwards or sideways.

6. The six mounting screws and plugs did an excellent job into the Celcon/Thermalite insulation blocks my wall is constructed from.

Verdict: very sturdy, perfect for the job and excellent value for money
