The most important thing for me about a point-and-shoot camera is having it ready to hand - no photographs otherwise. I need a case that protects it when I drop it (which I do, sometimes), and that lets me get the camera out quickly and put it away quickly. I also want something that doesn't add bulk, because if I'm carrying the camera or have it in my pocket, I'm more likely to get the photo when an opportunity turns up. This does the job.
It's nice quality leather - similar to Krussel. Inside suede should protect the screen. The magnetic catch means easy to open: long flap on front means camera isn't likely to fall out. The small inside pouch for spare memory card looks as if it would push into the camera if used - not an issue for me, I rarely fill the 8Gb card I use. Most of the camera is covered: this won't guarantee safety if dropped, but will give it a fighting chance.
Note: the description at the moment mentions "This camera case's convenient wrist strap" - it doesn't have one (at least, the one I got doesn't), it has a hole to pass the camera's wrist strap through. This works fine, so long as you have the strap on your camera.
I have a Canon IXUS 95is: this case fits well. It's not quite as snug as custom made, but very close - quite happy with fit.
I wouldn't want to trust the belt attachment: it's a flap that attaches with velco, and looks as if it would simply pull out if you pushed against something. I don't want to wear this on my belt, so not a problem for me, but if you do, you might want something more robust. For me, good bit of kit, job done.
