Very high quality video cable, good length, feels strong and durable, perfect picture quality, a very good basic range, excellent price, does the job, nothing more i can say really, if you're looking for a good cable, you've found it! Th frustration free packaging is good, no plastic to try and cut out, it's in a cardboard box you just open so that saves reaching for the scissors! Highly recommended.

I have an older DVD player which predates the use of HDMI interfaces. However, it does have connections for a component cable, which I've never previously used.
Until now I've been using a standard interconnect cable (albeit it a mid-high end one) to interface with my HD plasma screen and the performance has been very good. I must however report that using this cable sharpened picture quality considerably. Of course this may just be wish fulfilment or simply imagination on my part, but although I can't back it up with laboratory data, I'm willing to bet it has made a measurable difference.
Amazon seem to be producing an excellent `basic' range of interface cables at very competitive prices. This is the second such type I've used and I'm happy to recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to break the bank in order to get good results.
The `frustration-free packaging' (basically this involves simply lifting the cable from the box it's delivered in) also cuts down on the use of unnecessary card and plastic bubble and whatever else, and in these `green' times that's a laudable achievement.

I bought a few of these to connect some older DVD players to an AV receiver. I don't really buy into the hype that comes with the super-awesome marketing of more expensive branded cables (...Monster), especially with something as basic as a component cable, nor did I want a poorly constructed RCA/phono cable in disguise.
They are a vast improvement over the old SCART connection and there's no ghosting and interference I used to get with SCART. The cable feels solid and has nice moulded gold-plated connectors. As a replacement for SCART on a player without HDMI this is ideal.
The frustration-free packaging means I simply open a cardboard box and it's there, I don't need to crack open a blister pack that's been welded shut by a company that hates cut-free hands.
No clichéd "tin" comments here. It's a great product, well made and good value for money.
