If, like me, you were surprised to find a power lead but no USB cable with your Kindle, check the plug on your power lead again! It's actually a VERY NIFTY USB cable, with a power-socket converter. What is there to say? The product was delivered promptly and in good order. Just the sort of good service I expect from Amazon. The only problem was that I did not actually need the replacement, as the cable sent with the KIndle was dual purpose, which I did not realise at the time. Hey Ho!!

Thanks for the tip about the Kindle plug, I checked mine to find you are right and I have the USB connection I need. I don't recall it being mentioned in the kindle book. Thanks again.

Great replacement wire
This cable allows you to charge your Kindle from a USB on your computer. It is a great replacement for the standard charger that cane with my Kindle.

Works Fine, Doesn't Handle Strain Well
