This is a very nice protective case, good value for money. It's not like having a lighter type that lets you get to the on/off button easily, but that's not what I wanted. I really wanted it for the protection it provides whilst travelling and it does this very well indeed. It is easy to remove from the case for normal use. Overall 10/10 for this reasonably priced case.

I bought this item as I had a requirement for a Kindle case that would be strong and durable. This case is most definitly not like that!! It is not hard in the least but quite pliable, and any force applied to the front will easily be transmitted to the screen of the Kindle. The case is much thicker than the Kindle, and actually has room for two of them inside. From the product description I was expecting a sturdy case that I could use with the Kindle when travelling. How it can call itself a 'Hard Case' is beyond me. This case does not do the job at all, and will be going straight in the trash can. What a waste of money!!
Also, the quality of the zip is very poor. On the first or second use, the zip was starting to jump some links where it went past corners.

Although sturdy, the cover is too big for the Kindle which moves around too much when trying to read
