By Mel
Bought as a gift for a family member who loves all things haunted.
I thought it would be a small paperback so was pleasantly surprised when the book arrived as it was the size of a hardback and a good sturdy paperback quality.
Didn't read it as 'all things haunted' aren't my cup of tea so can't comment on the stories.

the review 19 April 2010
A hugely disappointing book. Should have included more on ghosts instead of dubious legends. In a lot of cases far too brief. The layout and presentation is very good and the maps are clear and precise.
Having read it it is rather like one of the places you always wanted to visit but when you arrive it is a big let down.

Haunted book 20 Jan 2012
The book is full of places all over the UK as described but I did expect a little more detail about the mysterious goings on in each town etc so its a little too brief with its description.
