The other reviewer has posted his 1 and 2 star review twice, which seems to have been a blundering, drunken hash-job, since he clearly states that he recommends the book! My sense of justice, and a liking for Joseph Murphy's work compels me to at least go some way to counteracting the damage, and say that The Amazing Laws of Cosmic Mind Power is a classics on spiritual mind power and self-improvement. Written in typical of the better 1960's American self-help books, (concise and orderly), with very welcome "Points to Remember" at the end of each chapter. As this was written in 1965 you probably won't find anything very new here, but if you enjoy reading Joseph Murphy and books of this period and genre, it is an enjoyable way to reawaken some inspiration. This book is peppered with Bible quotations and discussions of God. However, it by no means comes across as just another religious propaganda book, but rather, a sincere attempt at explaining higher spiritual truths, and how to benefit from faith and trust thereof.
