3.0 out of 5 stars Not that amazing! 25 May 2012
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
As a new owner of an Android (v. 2.3) Samsung smart-phone and an Android (v. 4.0) Asus Tablet I eagerly scanned the book-lists for "useful" manuals as the pitiful garbage provided with ones electronic kit are of very little help. I must say I was a little disappointed with AAA's for Dummies, it is not particularly voluminous/detailed in content and in the time it takes to publish it is clearly fast becoming out of date. In the end I have found the apps "browsing" facilities of my two devices to be just as useful.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Android Apps for Dummies eBook 29 May 2012
By Clet
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was a waste of good money. It was easier searching Google play to find what I wanted. The book gives the obvious apps like Kindle, Amazon, Facebook and Twitter along with several american apps that are none applicable to the uk.
Overall opinion. Do not buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars What is the point of this book? 10 Mar. 2015
What is the point of this book? I don't understand.

It just appears to be a list of apps, sorted by function, and a quick review of each one. If it did help you find one app that you wanted, I would still consider having had to buy and read the rest of the book as a waste of my time.

2.0 out of 5 stars Old and had to see what it's for ... 16 Mar. 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
A book about apps? I bought this (by mistake I realise) to help me develop apps ... at best it is a snapshot of the app market at a point in time, but really that's like looking at fossils. Not useful now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Insignia headlights. 12 Mar. 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
These can only be described as fantastic and I wonder why Vauxhall fit such dim main and dipped in the first place. A good white light about half the distance more than the original.
