Always There is one of the most emotionally complex and riveting books I have read in some time. The book opens with a group of close friends meeting up to celebrate Kelly's engagement, but soon after she learns that her fiancé has been in a tragic car accident.

The problem with tackling grief and sadness is that too many writers are unable to harness these powerful emotions and subsequently lose control of their story. K. T. King never falls into this trap, Always There portrays its characters with deep sincerity but also builds a gripping story that this reader found hard to put down.

The biggest compliment I can pay the writing skills of King, is that when I finished the book I felt like I had spent a lifetime with these characters. So much happens to them in the confines of this incredibly moving book, that I found myself cheering the wonderful ending! King has crafted a timeless tale of love and friendship, with particular emphasis on the latter. Throughout the book, this small group of friends demonstrate every emotion possible, from love to betrayal. But at their core is a loyalty that binds both them and this magical book.

If you are a fan of romance and drama, you must read Always There.

K.T. King, doesn't just take you on a journey with friends, but makes you feel like you actually know each and everyone of them, causing your emotions to get caught up with every turn. The issues that these friends have to deal with are very realistic, and makes me relive the past with the group of friends that remained close with me. Though I was really sad with the death of one of the friends, and very angry with yet another one, I realize these things had to happen. It makes the beauty towards the end all the more dear. This story will stay with me forever. K.T. King makes you hang on to this group of character's that were created and is a very, talented writer. You will definitely laugh with this group of characters,cry with them and Mike will become one of your favorites! (I love that guy!) If you just want a great book to curl up with and read...THIS IS IT!

A Wonderful Book! K T King has been able to write about the reality of loss and love of family and friends and each level of those emotions and make it into a great book. From the happiness of friendship, to shock, betrayal, despair, loneliness, depression, and love again she covers all of it. She proves that love, light and hope can come out to be the winner when the whole world seems to be falling apart. Highly recommended.
