Product Description

Wearing a Maid of Honor dress that very well makes the South want to rise again, Jess Reynolds is prepared to walk down the aisle at her best friend's wedding. It's just that things keep getting in the way, like a sex-crazed coworker, an annoying brother-of-the-bride, and a handsome and horribly charming friend posing as the Best Man. As it turns out, Jess might just be the last one to know everything, including the workings of her own heart.

About the Author

Crystal Bowling has lived in Kentucky her entire life, and has been writing for almost as long. "Always the Last to Know" is her first novel, though she has many other stories that are currently unfinished or unpublished. She currently lives in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

5.0 out of 5 stars well written & funny 2 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I loved this book, one of my favourite authors is Marian Keys, in particular her book 'Rachels holiday', the style of writing here reminded me very much of that.
The characters were well developed, the interaction between them was amusing & realistic. Jess in particular with her internal thoughts & under her breath comments really made me laugh outloud at points, much to the startled amusement of other passengers on the train I was on at the time.

I would recommend this & would be downloading more offerings by this author immediately if I could only find any. If this is a first novel then the future is very promising in my opinion.

Treat yourself, give it a read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book!! 4 May 2012
By Heather
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Just finished the book, sad that it is actually over. It is a great story that you, want to read again once you've finished. It wasn't until the end that I noticed that it is book one of a series. Hopefully the author releases the next book soon would love to hear more about Jess and Riley!

2.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't recommend it 5 May 2012
By T Bell
Format:Kindle Edition
I can honestly say that this is one of the most predictable and disappointing books I've read in a long time. Everything about this book, from the characters to the plot, is cliched and dull. Some of the main characters, with whom we're meant to relate, are downright annoying. I wasn't expecting Nobel Prize-winning stuff, and I knew this book would follow a fairly predictable storyline but even so, I wouldn't recommend this book. There are also a number of spelling and grammar mistakes, which was somewhat worrying.

5.0 out of 5 stars A nice feel good read 7 May 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Although the story was a bit predictable, I really enjoyed reading it. I finished it in a couple of days (due to some very nice bank holiday weather!). It is easy to read and in some places made me laugh out loud. Look forward to reading book two in the set.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and romance 12 April 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Always the Last to Know is a heartwarming book that will make you laugh out loud while reading it. The characters are so realistically depicted and the story is so well written that I almost felt like I was part of the action.
