I read and liked the last book by this author 'Three Times a Lady' and this one is even better. It's about Amy who is almost 30 and works in a children's bookshop. When she has to be a bridesmaid twice in one week she's horrified. She meets a nice English guy and . . . Well, I won't ruin it. Good read - funny, thoughtful, great holiday material.

I bought this book and really looked forward to reading it - thought it sounded really good from reading on the back. But as it turned out this was one of the worst books I've ever read... Amy is the saddest heroine and she annoyed the life out of me - she was just such a terrible friend, sister ...you name it. I was deeply disapointed!

What a great book! I loved every minute of it! This book was a perfect read, nice and light, and best of all romantic. I could identify with the main character so much, her love of bookstores made me feel a strong kinship with her. I really enjoyed the fact that this book did not have the usual "chick lit" ingredients. You know the recipe by now, I'm sure : one slightly chubby singleton, living in London, working in an ad agency, trying to lose weight, searching for a boyfriend..... yada, yada, yada.. it gets so boring after awhile! That's what was so great about this book! It was set in Ireland, the main character works in a children's book shop, she is NOT a slave to fashion, and although she is looking for a soul mate, she is not "man crazy". I loved, loved, loved this book and will be looking for more from Sarah Webb!

Excellent!
I read this book in 1 day - I couldn't put it down. It's fun, it's lighthearted, but it still has substance. If you like chick lit, you'll love this. Read more

Awful
The kind of thing you would read if you were sixteen and had a crush on your art teacher. The mind boggles as to how anyone can really take this kind of novel seriously. Read more

tedious, predictable
So many books of this genre are amusing and well written, worth reading. This book unfortunately is none of these. Read more

holiday reading at its finest
The front cover reviewed the book as "perfect to take on holiday". Well, it certainly doesn't rise above that.

A minor point, but it grated - the title is wrong. Read more
