Alvin and the Chipmunks
Struggling songwriter Dave Seville (Jason Lee) opens his home to a talented trio of chipmunks named Alvin, Simon and Theodore and they become overnight music sensations. But when a greedy record producer (David Cross) tries to exploit the "boys", Dave must use a little human ingenuity and a lot of 'munk mischief to get his furry family back before it's too late.

Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel
Alvin, Simon, and Theodore meet their musical match after returning to school and entering into a battle of the bands competition in hopes of saving the school's troubled music program. Sent to live with Dave Seville's younger nephew Toby (Zachary Levi), the three lovable marmots decide that getting an education is more important than belting out pop tunes. But the school's music program is about to go belly up, and the only way to save it is to win the $25,000 prize in the upcoming battle of the bands. Though the Chipmunks are confident they have the songwriting skills to steamroll the competition, a newly formed singing trio dubbed The Chippettes promises to give them some stiff competition on-stage. Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeanette are indeed the real deal, and the closer the competition gets, the more Alvin, Simon, and Theodore realise that in order to win, they'll have to give it everything they've got.

The Alvin and the chipmunks films really are great for the whole family to watch, the chipmunks are just so adorable, it's hard not to like them. The music is brilliant aswell and sometimes the songs are better than the originals.
The second and third films in the series are as good as the first which isn't usually the case with sequals but each one is fresh with great new stories and new songs.
This boxset is great value for a triple Blu-ray pack as it is the same price on pre-order as the third film alone, saving around £10-£15 on the cost of the first two. All three films are triple plays in their seperate Blu-ray cases so this is not just a cheap set, I'm very pleased to have this bargain !

Great value box set suitable for all the family. Kept the kids (and grown ups) entertained in the Easter holidays, they have watched them over and over again!

Didn't enjoy the third one as much as i enjoyed 1&2 but my kids love the chipmunks so its been played everyday since we've got it
