Product Description

No one knew who was the father of Carin's baby. She'd kept her secret for the entire pregnancy. But during the birth, she called out a name--Raphael Alvares! The powerful Brazilian millionaire rushed to Carin's bedside. But had Rafe come because pride forced him to give the baby his name? Or was it because the one passionate night they'd shared had left him longing to make Carin his bride?

5.0 out of 5 stars One of her best - part of the Baron Saga. 1 Mar 2012
By Uenna TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE™ VOICE
Sandra Marton once again wrote an excellent plot to continue the Baron saga. This is Carin's Story and it had so many twists and turns. The Hero at first glance will appear harsh and chauvinistic but we must bear in mind that he comes from a cultural backgorund where the man is expected to be very strong, high and mighty and the woman is expected to be docile, gentle and does what she is told. I think the heroine in this book was strong and gave as good as she got. I think Sandra Marton did a good job of exporing the vanity and conceit that attends most relationships. Why do people find it so difficult to admit to themselves and to the loved one that they love them? Admission of those three words, I love you, could have saved our hero and heroine a lot of heartache and they would have had more loving times together. I think these are real issues in relationships worldwide and Sandra did a good job in exploring the varied emotions and difficulties that are experienced in uniting couples from different cultural backgrounds. The plot line is excellent and holds your attention to the very last word.
