Alun John Richards

Alun John Richards is a native of Swansea South Wales, a retired engineer who worked closely with the Tinplatr Industry. An ex professional pilot amd one-time instructor of motorcycle instructors. Sometime Summer School lecturer at Coleg Harlech and for many years a Guest Field Lercturere at Snowdonia National Park Environmental Study Centre Plas Tan y Bwlch.
Has a special interest in the Slate Industry of Wales and its associated raiways and shipping, on which he lectures. He is a staunch defender of Wales, its culture and its countryside all of which are the basis for his published books.
