These bags are very good quality even if pricey. The lack of a shoulder strap as standard is an issue, but I have found that shoulder straps are easy to buy separately. Being able to remove or replace the bags quickly and easily on either side of the pannier frame is a great advantage. Given the price, I would hesitate to leave them on the bike long term. But short-term security can be resolved by using a fine cable baggage lock through the shoulder strap rings and around the pannier rack. It would be helpful if small loops could be placed on the black end panels for red tail lights to be slipped on where required.

These panniers seem to be great, so far. They're capacious, convenient and pretty well designed. They fit easily onto my rack, and stuff fits into them. They have the fittings to attach a shoulder strap (not included) so they can easily be carried around markets.
