I tend to buy compilations simply to find new songs/groups, safe in the knowledge that there will a good percentage of the songs/groups I will not enjoy. This album is one of those rarities.... I enjoyed 95% of the songs rather than the usual 59% which means I can actually listen to the whole thing all the way through. And it has introduced me to some great new (to me, that is) groups.

I buy these compilations expecting some filler tracks and rip those to my MP3 player. To get a 5 star I'd expect about 3/4 of the tracks to be "keepers." On this I kept 43 out of 120, so OK, but quite a lot of fillers, hence the 3 star rating. Still, that's a reasonable number of tracks for my money.
