Not a great deal to say about this simple yet satisfying product, so I guess I'll just answer the questions I was pondering over before I bought it...
What do you get in the box?
The dock itself...
5 power adapters for different countries (UK, USA, Australia, Europe, and another one that looks like Europe, not sure what)
4 iPod dock adapters, but you don't need these if you have the one that came with your iPod.
How easy is it to use?
Power adapter on, press the big button to open it out, plug it in, and you're away.
The dock just has a power button and volume control. You use the iPod buttons to select your songs and play them, just remember the volume your iPod is set to has no effect while it's on a dock.
Once you're finished, disconnect, and fold away :)
You might find that taking the dock adapter out is a bit tricky. I just used a knife on one of the narrow sides to gently pry it out, and is fine. You can leave the adapter on while it's folded away anyway.
How does it sound?
How do you want it to sound? It sounds good. Very good for £55 in fact. It's hard for me to answer this question for everyone... I'm used to a good set of earphones and I'm very satisfied with the sound quality.
Anything else?
Oh yes, this DEFINITELY works with the new iPod Nano 5G, even though it's not listed as "compatible". It doesn't come with a dock adapter for the Nano 5G, but you should already have that adapter from when you bought the iPod unless you were silly and threw it out.
Finally, while the dock is off but plugged in, it will charge your iPod. The iPod then shows a big battery metre.
I guess the 1 thing it's missing is a USB slave port so you can connect it to your computer while it's in the dock, but I don't care that it's not here. You might though.
