A country song, surely, rather than the folk that it comes categorised as? Gentle slide guitars, country twanging guitar solos, and an easy melodic backing. But the highlight of this track is most definitely the duetting female vocals. Less poppy than the Pierces, and lonesome as hell. I think they work so well together that it wouldn't really matter what form the backing took, or even whether there was any at all. As it is though, it - the backing, that is - compliments the song beautifully. Oh, I want to hear more from these!
