I bought this because of Paula Begoun's review of it on beautypedia.com and because it's not tested on animals. It's also not expensive. I haven't been using it long enough for me to see a difference in my skintone, but I like it. It's light, you don't need to use a lot of product and it sinks into the skin quickly and it doesn't leave an uncomfortable feeling/heavy layer on the skin. It does burn a bit, but the feeling goes away after a few minutes. Then I apply my sunscreen and it works quite well under it. When I mix it with some of my products however, I experience some pilling, probably from the sunscreen though, but you just have to find a combo that works. I use this on the back of my hands at night as well as I'm starting to get some spots. Would repurchase if I see a big enough difference after a few months of using it.
