The entire album, the second for former Take That boy band star Mark Owen is a true find in a world of semi-talented glitter pop and this is among it's biggest jewels. "Alone Without You" speaks of pain and loneliness at missing something that is rare to find these days - true committment and passion. Mark's voice is not and never will be the cookie cutter sameness that pop radio seems to favor, but that's it's beauty, not it's loss. He's a rare musician, one who can actually write and play and sing with heart and emotion and to skip it for lack of glitz is a true loss. "What We Already Know" is a wonderful song as well, but the real jewel on this cd is the emotional acoustic verion of "Alone Without You". Not to be missed.
