Karaoke at its worst.
This is the 'Heart' classic 'Alone' put on half speed and destroyed in an effort to conjure up something original. But if fails. The voice is the same as all the other female singers currently around today that you've heard a thousand times before... it is awful!

I've heard this played many times now on the radio. It appears to be another case of overplay it on the commercial radio stations to get it into the charts, and eventually through familiarity you even begin to believe you like it (it's done well for Adele).
This sounds like someone doing very bad and dreary karaoke in their bedroom with the Bontempi backing set a bit too slow. The chorus is just repeated and repeated and repeated until by the end I'm just begging for it to finish. If it was any faster, they'd have to repeat the chorus even more.
