Well ...First of all there are 3 kinds of people 1) Those who like classic hard rock 2) Those who like Europe 3) Those who do NOT like the first two. This review is only for the 1 and 2. If you are a Europe fan ...just get this !! If you are a classic hard rock fan ...let me tell you this is as good as it gets ...go on and compare it to any big hair band of the 80's like White lion , Thunder , Great White , Firehouse , Loverboy etc...and they are right up there ...and the sound is more mature , more hard rock and not exactly the classic Europe sound...Not keyboard dominated ...its more guitar dominated ...
Picture and sound of this dvd is great ! And there is a string section included in the performance...They do a few covers of Floyd , Lizzy , UFO etc great stuff ...and trademark countdown song is a breath of fresh air ...watch it and you will know what I mean..
To top it all of this is a DVD and CD combo...! Highly recommended

Well well well. There isn't much to be said other than if you are a fan of the band you have to buy this. An absolute stellar performance from the guys complete with string quartet backing which works beautifully. Some Europe songs done differently (wait til you hear countdown, what they have done with that is amazing) and some covers. An enthusiastic home crowd and excellent direction on the DVD make this a great watch as well as listen. Mr Tempest is on fine form and the band is tight as a drum. Put simply, it's awesome. Buy it.

This is an excellent dvd for anyone who likes good rock music ,you do not need to be a fan of Europe(tho I am )to appreciate this, and I suspect many music fans will miss out on it because of the limited appeal & following of Europe today ....... I like the idea of all those covers and it works very well ........ my only ctriticism is that for most numbers the guys are "sitting down", just doesn't fit with me , rock musicians sitting down !! I mean these guys are not old & I know they still perform live with so much energy........ I could sense Joey Tempest, "itching" to get up and move around.... which finally he does , but I'd like to have seen them all standing through all the numbers ....
