Product Description

Wendy (Rosanna Arquette) is an incurable romantic trapped in the body of a bored and timid housewife. Her marriage is failing and her days are spent working in a dead-end job. She yearns for the adventure and sensuality found within the pages of her romance novels but her husband Ronnie (Bruce Spence) just doesn't fit the bill. His only dream is to make a success of his sweets business and open a shop of his very own. Enter the mysterious Jake (Hugo Weaving) - handsome, passionate, the very man dreams are made of. I have never seen a film which was such total rubbish as this one. I have seen better acting at the local nativity by 4 year olds. Really save your money and time, this movie......."movie,thats a joke". was unbeliverably bad, no story and the so called good looking guy looked like a goblin out Hogwarts, just pure tripe.

Rosanna arquette stars as Wendy,a bored wife stuck in a boring job,who spends her days dreaming of the kind of romance in the books she reads.Her husband is only interested in making a success of the bar he plans to open & then the mysterious Jake enters her life.Wendy must decide if its excitement shes after or stability?Cute offbeat Australian movie that mixes comedy & surrealism.

An unexpected story to this film. Very funny in parts but did not
enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

It could be considered a comical romantical film

However it was quite watchable but would not recommend it as a
definite one to watch
