More About the Author

From the author: I grew up in Midwestern part of the United States, the daughter of school teachers and the second of four girls. Later I married Greg McQuestion, which gave me a really cool last name and (eventually) three kids.

I've wanted to be an author since third grade when my teacher, Mrs. DiFrances, read my short story aloud to the class. Today I'm thrilled to say I've written books for kids, teens, and adults, and am published in print, ebook, and audio through Amazon Publishing, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Brilliance Audio.

My publishing story has been covered by the Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, and the national U.S. NPR show, The Story with Dick Gordon. I have also appeared on ABC's World News Now and America This Morning.

Today I live in Hartland, Wisconsin, where you'll find me happily sitting in my office typing away on my laptop writing my next book.
