If you're like me and suffer from an allergy (or two) or have a loved one or friend who does, you need to read this book. It is packed with plenty of practical ideas on how to minimize or relieve the suffering that comes from allergy symptoms.
The information is presented in short, easy-to-swallow chapters that each cover one idea and ways to implement it followed by a few targeted questions and answers pertaining to the idea. The writing style is friendly and easy to read, well organized, and presented with a huge dose of wit and humor.
Not all suggestions are applicable to all allergies, but enough different things are covered so that everyone should be able to find a least a few ideas that may help with their specific situation. The one thing missing that would have been helpful is a cross reference to types of allergies or symptoms that would then link or index to the chapters that cover the things that help those specific topics. Lacking that, you simply need to skim the chapters until you find those that cover the symptoms you're trying to address, then bookmark them for future reference.
