This is a bargain. I looked at a number of other options, usually around £250 and I am glad I risked going for this without being able to look at it first.
It is easy to put up, all the fittings are provided and I think it would support about 3 or 4 TV's without trouble. I have a 37" Samsung and it is fine.
It does look a bit industrial compared to the more expensive units but as you don't see it behind the TV who cares?
One useful point is that, if your DIY is as bad as mine and your house is as old, you will be grateful for the number of different places you can place a screw through the wall plate - enough for mistakes plus additional 'if this falls off my wife will kill me' screws/bolts.

This is a solid piece of kit and if you have any doubts about hanging a heavy TV on a wall this will do the job.
Compared to other small slimline brackets this is a giant but it is hidden and the strong construction gives great peace of mind.
My house has walls of the softer Thermolite blocks and I decided I needed a larger wall plate to spread the load and this has a really large steel wall plate. It comes with 6 large wall bolts and large wall plugs but you can use more bolts if your walls are a problem.
It weighs over 11kgs (almost as much as the TV !)and has a 60kgs limit so if you have a medium TV now you probably will not have to buy another bracket if you upgrade later to something larger when the TV prices fall.
Having looked at many brackets I could not find a better bracket and many other websites have this one as their best seller - but at higher prices.
Recommended without no reservations.

This bracket is awesome... I was a bit concerned that, due to the age of my house and its brickwork, the walls wouldn't support this bracket, let alone the TV. BUT IT'S BRILLIANT! I have yet to put my TV onto it but I have tested it with my own weight and its as sturdy as any other bracket i've looked at.

Bear in mind that it is not a 'low profile bracket' as when it's fully retracted to the wall its depth is approx 10cm, plus the TV depth. But the mobility of the bracket makes up for its depth.

DEFINATELY RECOMMENDED

Thanks to the reviewers who went before me I bought this mount and now want to add to the chorus of approval. It's rock solid. You really can be confident that this will not drop you're new pride and joy off the wall and you really really don't need to pay the £300 for a bracket that the TV dealers want to sell you. I enlisted the help of an engineer friend to get the thing on the wall and he was impossibly excited by how robustly and thoughtfully it had been put together - there's a built-in spirit level for goodness sake. It all went up pretty easily. A few specific things which might be of use: (1) the maximum extension for this unit is about 12" from the wall, so if you need the TV to come a long way forward then you might want something with a longer cantilever; (2)if you're mounting into a brick wall (recommended) you'll need a 12mm masonry drill bit; (3) if you're mounting a Sony Bravia 40" you'll be using the M6 screws and although a great variety of pieces are supplied including M5 and M8 washers, I bought some extra washers specifically for M6. Enjoy!

This bracket is a fine piece of kit. I would recommend it to anyone. It does require some skill and strength to fit it properly to the wall. I used rawlbolts rather than the fittings supplied, though reading other people's reviews, it seems I may be over cautious. A small point though - the bracket comes with a level on it! This is a good idea in principle, but unfortunately the level supplied wasn't! - level that is! I checked it with a Stanley level and it was slightly out. Actual this is not that important as you can adjust the movable front plate by loosening the five bolts and swivelling though a few degrees. I have a 37" TV on it and there is a very slight drop in the arm due to natural stress when it is fully extended so I have a choice - either to level it in closed position or extended position. Obviously I can't have both. All in all this is an excellent product at a great price!

I read the earlier reviews and decided to buy this item. It was as good as the reviews suggests for the price. I had no issues setting it up as it had clear instructions. My only wobble was when the bolts provided for my 40 inch Sony Bravia were either too small or too big for the screws in the TV. I eventually worked out that you need to use the plastic black buffer things together with the longer screw to secure it.

One negative. I find that if I rotate the swivel closest to the TV away from it's perpendicular position (T shape) the TV slants down slightly. You can see that the bracket is feeling the weight of the TV and I wonder if I had gone for a more heavy duty bracket (just 15 pound more) would I still have this problem. In hindsight I would have paid the extra for the 40-70 inch bracket.

First impressions: Very heavy, my initial thought was "will my poor wall stand up to this beast?" It is heavy and sturdy and will need two people to install. My second thought was it looks complicated and I put off installing it until I had a couple of days. I needn't have worried though because once holes were drilled, it was up in 30 minutes.

It comes with enough different sizes of nuts and bolts to fit almost any TV.

A word of advice, connect all cables to the TV (including the power and satelite cable), before fixing the brackets to the back of the TV, then measure where on the wall you want to place it. That way you will not need to adjust the bracket at the back of the TV when you come to connect cables.

Delivery came quickly (within 4 days) and well before 5 other items that I ordered (including the Telly!)

I am very happy with this product and it pulls out twists, tilts and does exactly what it says on the tin
