~Choc Lit is a new line in romantic fiction. Their unique selling point is an emphasis on male as well as female point of view so that the reader has a significant insight into the hero's, as well as the heroine's, motivations. Sue Moorcroft excels at this approach and in All That Mullarkey she gives her readers a well-plotted and witty exploration of modern manners. Cleo and Gav's marriage is beginning to crack and what starts off as a tiff soon develops into something more serious that leads, inevitably, to lasting repercussions. A crack in their relationship opens into a chasm, aided in no small way by the existence of the irrepressible and irresistible Justin. Sue draws us into her protagonists' lives in a refreshingly down-to-earth fashion. Her characters are people you are likely to meet every day dealing with recognisable modern issues. Her distinctive wry humour, blended with realistic practical and emotional dilemmas, kept me turning the pages as I followed all three characters through their different but inter-related crises. Sue's clever plotting shows how even the most intelligent and sensible people can land themselves in difficult situations. About the Author
Sue is an accomplished writer of novels and short stories, as well as a creative writing tutor. She's also the fiction judge at Writers Forum. Her previous novels include Family Matters, Uphill All the Way and A Place to Call Home. She is also the commissioning editor and a contributor to Loves Me, Loves Me Not, an anthology of short stories celebrating the Romantic Novelists Association's 50th anniversary.
