I actually really like it which surprises me as I don't like anything he has done before and have a real problem normally when someone rips off another song, but this is a great driving with the roof down song, and I guess the fact I like Sweet Home Alabama just sets this up for me. Can't wait for it to be released so I can get out in the car, put the roof down and sing along

Every year round summer time there will be certain records you just hear everywhere that you can't help but like. Kid Rock's All Summer Long is one of those songs. Catchy as hell, well produced and with some genius use of samples it's no surprise this song has leapt to the number 1 spot on the UK charts.
One thing I really like about this song is that generally stations like Radio 1 tend to stray away from American Rock of this kind but faced with the song's overwhelming popularity on downloads and TV, they have playlisted the song and are now playing it all the time. It just throws a bit of diversity into the UK charts and for that I am grateful. All in all, it's a good solid tune that pushes all the right buttons and is well worth getting.
[This CD features an edited 3.46 version of the song and two bonus live tracks]

One of Kid Rock's talents is that he can befriend anyone in the music industry. All Summer Long is a related song to his son's mother and the summer they spent together. Kid Rock's is not known as the founder of metal music, metal country and southern hip hop because he cares about what people think...if people like it they buy it. If you like country music this is the best summer song you will get for a long time, but if you are still wondering how fast your car will go, then grab a hold of sweet home alabama...cos thats the only song that will do it.
As for the pioneer of the guy who first put guitars in rap/hip hop music and the first guy to ever rap in a cowboy hat...this is a major break of a career turn for the best friend of Hank Williams Jr and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Classic Tune
This is an absolute classic tune, yeah sure the lyrics are to "Sweet Home Alabama", but who cares that was also a classic song, and at least Kid mentions it in his lyrics. Read more
