The author, Dick King-Smith, really enthuses about pigs, describing their personalities as well as imparting some interesting facts, in an entertaining and accessible way. The illustrations are also amusing and convey the charm of these animals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definately one for the pig lover 20 Mar 2001
Format:Paperback
I first saw this book in the library, and was then bought a copy, for my 33rd birthday!!! The illustrations in this book are absolutely fantastic, and the piggy characters are so true to life (I own a pig - so I know these things!) I read it constantly, and it is also informative and educational (??!!) Children of all ages will love it (even adults - like me!) Well worth buying it to keep handy on the shelf, so you can keep looking at the beautiful piggy pictures.
